Past Continuous Tense

Past Continuous
(Bentuk Lampau sedang Berlangsung)

Is a tense that is used to state an activity or an event that was happening in the past.
- I was sleeping last night.

Also to tell an activity or event, while another activity or event was happening at the same time in the past.
- I was reading when she met me.

Formula:
(+) S+to be+V1 (ing)
(-) S+to be+not+V1 (ing)
(?) To be+S+V1 (ing)

Examples:
She was cooking
She was not cooking
Was she cooking?

They were playing game.
They were not playing game.
Were they playing game?

She was cooking when her mom was not at home.
She was not cooking when her mom wasn't at home.
Was she cooking when her mom wasn't at home?

We were studying when dad watched tv.
We were not studying when dad watched tv.
Were we studying when dad watched tv?

When he met them, I was listening the radio.
When he met them, I wasn't listening the radio.
When he met them, was I listening the radio?

Note:
wasn't = was not
weren't = were not
