Appointment

Appointment usually we use to promise something to someone and that person can accepts or refuse the appointment. But sometimes, we can cancel the appointment that we have made for someone because a reason.

An appointment sentence, usual used simple present and simple future tense. Below is the example dialog that shows about two girls that making appointment to have lunch together.

Jannief : “Flint, do you fancy going for lunch?”

Flint  : “Yeah, why not?”

Jannief : “Emm.., after school at Sun’s food stall?”

Flint  : “Sounds great!”

Jannief : “Ok, see you there!”

Flint  : “See you…”.

And below are some expressions we can use to make and accept an appointment.

I’m afraid I have to defer our appointment because I have urgent business to do. Sorry, I can’t meet you this weekend, since I have another appointment.	That’s Ok. Well, it’s all right. Some other time, may be? How disappointing! Don’t worry. We can meet next time.
