Invitation
Invitation is a written or spoken request asking someone to spend time
with you socially or to come somewhere or
to do something. An invitation usually uses simple present
tense, and sometimes there is simple future tense.

also can invite someone by talk directly to that person. And he/she can accept
or refuse/decline our invitation. Below is the example dialog that shows one
invitation from the boy declining by the girl, and the other one had accepted.
Boy:
“This weekend Andrew, Donny, and I are going to the night fair. Would you like
to join us?”
Girl:
“I’d love to”
Boy:
“Good. Then, after the fair, we plan to eat spaghetti at Mr.Joe’s”
Girl:
“sorry, but I don’t like spaghetti. So, I’ll go home first”
Boy:
“That’s ok”.
